Amber Brüsewitz is a PhD student at Ghent University. During her studies at Utrecht University, she picked up a special interest in the history and archaeology of Attica and became a staff member of the Thorikos Archaeological Research Project. Amber’s research focuses on the effects of crucial developments in classical Athenian society, such as the Peloponnesian War, on the landscape of the Mesogeia region in Attica. Since 2020, she is a board member of the Dutch Classical Association (Nederlands Klassiek Verbond). Read more Projects: The Thorikos Research Project
